The large blocks in this quilt use what I call a “three-in-a-square” triangle unit for the star points.  This quilt is an example of a scrap quilt based on color.  I used nine different reds and nine different yellows for the stars.  The reds range from tangerine to deep scarlet and each print is distinctly different from the others.
