Amish Cascade

Around 1993 a group of quilters met monthly at a quilt store and worked through Roberta Horton’s book An Amish Adventure.   We spent a year making tops using solid fabrics.  This was a wonderful way for me to learn about color and value.

I pieced the top for Amish Cascade and then Mary Tomlinson did a beautiful job hand quilting it.
